Мы впервые приехали на Шри-Ланку и остановились в этом отеле. Забронировали лучший номер на 20-м этаже (№2002) — просторный, с огромной кроватью, ванной комнатой и потрясающим видом на город. Впечатления от номера и сервиса остались только положительные: отличные завтраки, вежливый и внимательный персонал. Однако стоит учитывать, что этот отель больше подходит для краткосрочного пребывания — 1-2 ночи перед отправлением в путешествие по острову. Мы забронировали номер на неделю и в итоге поняли, что для пляжного отдыха и туризма он не очень удобен. В окрестностях есть приятный парк с множеством птиц и деревьев, но найти хорошее кафе или ресторан рядом не удалось. В итоге мы ездили в торговый центр, где пробовали шаурму и другую еду. Недалеко расположена набережная, но для полноценного отдыха лучше отправляться в центр острова. Мы пытались отменить часть брони, но нам отказали, поэтому пришлось оставаться до конца недели. В итоге решили взять в аренду машину, и это было лучшим решением — поездки по городу оказались намного интереснее. Кстати, в отеле есть удобная подземная парковка. В целом, если вам нужен комфортный отель для кратковременного проживания перед путешествием по острову, это отличный выбор. Но для длительного отдыха или пляжного туризма лучше рассмотреть другие варианты.

Not well maintained, the room smelled like wet and mold. One thing that made us very unhappy was that the curtains wouldn't close completely, so the light would come in in the morning at 6 am. The steam room was disgusting, with broken floor and mold. There were alcohol bottles hidden in the spa room, and in the gym cabinets - I LL let you guess who might have been drinking... Good location, clean room. Below average breakfast

Sorry for reviewing . I suggest 訂房網站 to take out this property from their listings. As prior the property named as movenpick hotels ,. We are in an illusion of the same legacy continues.. unfortunately we booked for two nights and fortunately we changed second day to other hotel, reason being Worst room service, no immediate attention of guests except security and few personals. Breakfast is not at all worth. NOT AT ALL. Rooms are huge and cleanliness is not at par as bed bugs can be seen. Don’t want to post pics as it devastates the house. Wish the best for NH and hope they look into the issues quick and sort.. thanks

Visited Colombo during off-peak season so we managed to visit the city with less crowd. Views from any sea-facing room is incredible for its price - slight blocking with 2 towers in front but you can get a better unblocked view if you go for Premium tier rooms. I have to commend reception staff Anjala, who managed upsell me a Premium Seaview Room from a Superior Seaview Room. He took the time to explain the differences between each tier, accommodated to my budget constraints, and brought me to each room (empty ones of course) for a viewing before committing to an upgrade. After hearing that I was there on honeymoon (my husband would only arrive later), he relayed that to the rest of the team who took care of us wonderfully throughout our 4-day stay. Overall, room is clean and roomy, perfect for business calls with fast and reliable in-room wifi. Only downside is their TV doesn't have Netflix or Airplay, only Miracast for Android/Windows users. Tip for travellers: tell your driver this used to be Movenpick hotel - they will know where to drop you off.
